He has a great milking pedigee! Sire’s dam is an ELITE doe. Sire’s dam, SG HobbyCroft E KitKat 1M, ranked #5 in Production (1460 lbs milk) and Protein (62 lbs) in 2017 in the ADGA’s Top 10. She ranked #2 in Production (1457 lbs milk) and #9 in Butterfat (86 lbs) in 2018 in the AGS’ Top 10. She has placed on the ADGA elite list years in a row (ranked top 96% in 2023, 97% all 2020 and 2019, ranked top 98% in December and 97% August in 2018, ranked 96% all 2017). She’s won many Juju awards! Tag’s full littermate sister (Crow’s aunt) is SGCH WitchWind FB Laffy Taffy 2M/2D, who is an impressive champion animal. Laffy Taffy appraised 86 ++EV as a two year old doe. She won Bronze Juju award in 2018, Gold & Platinum Juju awards in 2019, and Gold Juju Award in 2020. In 2019, She milked 1,210 lbs milk, 68 lbs butterfat, 48 lbs protein at 2 years old. In 2020, she milked 1110 lbs milk, 69 lbs butterfat, and 46 lbs protein at 3 years old. She was an elite doe with the ADGA in 2019 and 2020. She has also, like her and her brother’s dam, placed on the elite list (ranked top 97% all year in 2020 and 2019).
I hope Crow’s dam, Sophie, does well on milk testing in 2024. Unfortunately, Sophie is an older doe not used to being milked, so milk test was a challenge in 2023. She does have relatives with great mammary systems and superior genetics.

Fable is homegrown from Shamrock and Cowboy. I told myself not to keep any more bucklings after Pumpkin, but I just fell in love with this guy. I noticed something in him when I did my first two rounds of hoof trims, and he just let me trim his hooves. He is like this about everything. He just goes with the flow and is so calm toward humans. Fable’s conformation does not disappoint either! I love his improved leg angulation, topline and rump angle. As a yearling, he is growing up to be more and more beautiful. I see a lot of improvement in his kids. It’s hard to wait to see the udder genetics he throws…So far, I am so proud of him. A keeper for sure!
Fable appraised 82 GGG at a year and a half. I am excited to see how my boy does in a few years! His dam, Shamrock, appraised 87 GVVV.

Pumpkin is special boy from our beloved Treasure. I love his great attitude and gentle nature. He is gold with white and has some gold and white roaning as well. He should be carrying some nice udder genetics, though I don’t have a good picture of Treasure’s udder. She had nice dairy skin, and colostrum came out very easily. Shamrock is Treasure’s twin sister, so her udder pictures will give you an idea of Pumpkin’s genetics. It was so hard losing her, but I am very grateful to have a beautiful kid from her. He is a pleasure to have around and has sired some very cute kids!
Pumpkin appraised 81 GGG at 2 years old. He did hit the height stick and was 24 1/2 inches tall, but this may be due to rut. Fall is not a great time to score the boys.

Leppy is also one of my first two goats. He is a chocolate buckskin, but his buckskin faded over time, which I have read is typical of chocolate color patterns. His chocolate coloring is actually modified black that appears brown. I learned about that when he sired a black doeling, Kicks. He sometimes plows snow with his face in the winter. Lep is a silly buck and has a lot to say all the time. I am still hoping to find udder pics for his dam but might find a half sister or too.
His eldest two daughters on milk test have superior butterfats of 9.5% and 8.7% last milk test!
